1PRAISE is rightfully Yours, O God, in Zion;
vows to You will be fulfilled.
2 O You who hears prayer,
to You all humanity will come.
3 Iniquities overwhelm me,
but You forgive our transgressions.
4 Blessed is the man You choose
and bring near to live in Your courts.
We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
of Your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,
O God of our salvation,
the hope of all the ends of the earth,
and of the farthest seas.
6 By Your strength You established the mountains;
being girded with power,
7 You stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the tumult of the nations.
8 Those living in the farthest parts of the earth
are filled with awe by Your wonders;
where the morning dawns and the evening fades
You bring forth shouts of joy!
9 You care for the earth and water it,
You abundantly enrich it.
The streams of God are filled with water.
You provide the people with grain,
for so You have ordained it.
10 You give abundant water to its furrows,
and settle its ridges;
You soften it with showers,
and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with Your bounty;
Your paths overflow with richness.
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;
the hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks,
the valleys are covered with grain;
they shout for joy and sing!
